What are the key benefits of EnviroStrip ® wheat starch media?

EnviroStrip ® wheat starch provides unprecedented precision and control by allowing the removal of paint and primer individually or simultaneously, and leaving underlying coatings and substrates intact.

If used according to the manufacturers approvals and the correct process parameters, Envirostrip ® wheat starch can be used safely on both Aluminium and Composite materials.

As it does not smear or remove the soft, protective alclad as do harder more abrasive media, there is less risk of masking a potentially critical problem with an aircraft component.

It facilitates nose-to-tail paint removal in a single process which maximises both time and cost-efficiency.

It is convenient for use in cabinets, blast rooms, and full-scale hangar aircraft depaint operations.

Using EnviroStrip ® instead of plastic media, can significantly reduce disposal costs. Unlike harder, more aggressive plastic, it does not normally remove cadmium from high-strength steel fasteners.
